Primary Care Physician

Practice the medicine you trained for—predictive, preventive, and deeply personal—without the volume treadmill. With a roster under 400 clients and a fully integrated team at your side, you spend your time on relationships, early detection, and outcomes that last. You are the clinical anchor of a model that is reshaping primary care across Canada.

Performance Objectives

  • Build and sustain a prevention-focused panel of fewer than 400 clients, delivering comprehensive primary care that measurably improves chronic-disease control, screening completion, and client-reported wellness within the first 12 months.
  • Lead interdisciplinary care plans with NPs, RNs, dietitians, exercise physiologists, mental-health navigators, and on-site lab so every client leaves with a coordinated, actionable plan.
  • Apply POCUS, genetics, and digital mental-health tools in daily practice to detect risk earlier and personalize interventions.
  • Document and close care loops in Accuro EMR so results, referrals, and follow-ups are completed within defined clinic standards.
  • Contribute to shared clinical learning so team protocols stay current with evidence and the clinics prevention-first standard.
  • Uphold a 4-day clinical week option while maintaining access, continuity, and exceptional client experience.

Environment & Resources

You report to Clinical Operations and work inside a state-of-the-art clinic with in-house diagnostics, high staff-to-physician ratio, and dedicated care coordinators. The clinic provides full practice support (College registration, permits if needed), cutting-edge equipment, and an interdisciplinary team that owns execution so you can focus on medicine.

Essential Qualifications

  • CCFP certification and current (or eligible) CPSBC registration.
  • At least one year of clinical primary-care experience, ideally in team-based or chronic-disease settings.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and use EMR to drive prevention and continuity.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, client-centred care with a longevity and prevention mindset.

Role Selling Points

  • Blended compensation starting at $450,000 CAD, no fee splits, plus relocation support.
  • Intentionally small roster and optional 4-day week for a sustainable, high-satisfaction practice.
  • Canada’s leader in preventive primary care—five clinics and growing—with professional development allowance, paid learning days, and unmatched team backup.
